Leadership South Carolina, proudly impacting the Palmetto State since 1979
Over 1,600 graduates of Leadership SC work throughout the South in major businesses, universities, executive boardrooms, school districts, government offices, industries, non-profit agencies, hospitals, and law offices. LSC alumni are actively making a positive difference daily with their work on school reform, regional collaborative efforts, community development, government policy, economic development, the environment, and local municipalities.
More than 80% of our alumni serve on at least one board or commission, many serve as elected or appointed officials, and still many others volunteer in local schools, faith-based communities, and non-profits.
100% of our graduates are dedicated to improving South Carolina.
Join us to make South Carolina better.
Scholarships, Sponsorships, and In-Kind Support
By supporting Leadership SC, your organization will be
reaching proven community leaders that understand complex social and health issues, educational challenges, and community issues.
LSC Scholarship Fund
Through the generous donations of businesses, corporations, and alumni, many class members are able to participate in our Core Program. Your generous donations support our efforts to maintain a high level of diversity of opinions, perspective, and geography. Your donation is fully tax-deductible.
Legacy of Leadership Event
Created to honor “home grown” leaders, the Dick & Tunkey Riley Legacy of Leadership event provides opportunities for corporate sponsorships. This event recognizes South Carolinians for selfless service: a Leader of Distinction, Distinguished Alum of the Year, and the “Walking the Path of Leadership” award.
Core Class Programming Support
With more than 120+ hours of instruction, sponsors of our Core Program promote their organization through specific segments for the current class. Organizations can support the entire three-day session, meals, breaks, educational tours, or fellowship gathering. In-kind support is always welcome.
Class Projects
Every year each class undertakes a project for the benefit of our state. Since 2004, more than $450,000 has been raised for different causes including: SC Priority Schools, the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind, Senior Care Issues, and Drop-Out Prevention, just to name a few. Donating for the Class Project extends our reach to strengthen under-served communities.
Sponsorships
