January Session 2020

Leadership South Carolina

Social issues and Healthcare Session

Greenwood, SC -- January 22,23,24, 2020

January is the time to learn new things and see new places in our state. This month we travel to Greenwood to learn how this community takes care of their children, vulnerable adults, and at-risk populations. Plus, we’ll see how the United Way and Self Healthcare System keep Greenwood and Abbeville communities healthy. We’ll see how Greenwood preserves history while looking to the future with new downtown projects.

We also take a look into the future of cancer research at the Genetic Center to see how bio-technology is accelerating the treating and elimination of diseases.
