Economic Development Session
February 21,22, 23, 2024
South Carolina’s economy is the primary focus of our session this month.
Capital investment is the key to creating jobs with higher wages and provides our state with financial stability in our cities and towns. Our state’s economy also impacts business recruitment, business expansions, and our personal lives which will explore during the Economic Development Session.
During our time in Spartanburg, we’ll hear from many experts in business recruitment, economic and workforce development. There will also be presentations on agribusiness and the impact of electric vehicles on our energy grid.
Of course, we’ll look at the state’s incentive program to see how it has created a way for businesses to expand their profitability and growth opportunities. Plus, we’ll have a crash course on the Federal Reserve, how it affects our lives, followed by an economist’s presentation on our changing financial landscape.
