Welcome Leadership South Carolina Class of 2024
Creating a Baseline of Knowledge – Sept. 6, 7, 8, 2023

As the Class of 2024, you have a unique chance to explore our state’s many complex challenges,
interesting places, innovative thinkers, and exciting opportunities. Today is the first day of your
Leadership South Carolina experience.
You are now a part of South Carolina’s oldest statewide leadership development program with more
than 2,200 alumni all over the state in all types of occupations and vocations, some of whom you will
meet during your LSC year.

Like most things, the effort you give to Leadership SC, the more you will gain from this experience.
Here’s information you need to know:
1) Hotel Rooms: About 2 weeks prior to each session, you’ll get a link by email about hotel rooms
— you can reply using your phone. There’s a normally a deadline for you to reply so read it
carefully – if you fail to reply will not have a room reserved for you.
2) Session Information: About 10 days before the session general information will be sent. This
includes a link to login which will have an agenda, logistics, directions, speaker bios, websites,
documents and reports for you to review before the session.
And will include what to wear!
3) Please be on Time: We know your time is precious, so we keep to the time on our agenda.
We ask that you please be on time; it’s embarrassing if our speaker wants to start on time and
you walk in late.

These items will help you get the most out of Leadership SC and prepare you for an enriching and
productive time.
