Krista Hinson

Overview

Krista Hinson is the director of federal and state government relations for the South Carolina Hospital Association. She works with lawmakers and communities on healthcare policies to better serve hospitals, their patients and the public across the state. The association, a not-for-profit organization, comprises 100 hospitals and health systems statewide.

Krista has a B.S. degree in nutrition and dietetics from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Master of Health Administration degree from the University of South Carolina. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Prior to working for the South Carolina Hospital Association, Krista was a health advisor at Health Fitness Corp. in Minneapolis.
