Kathryn Boucher

Overview

Kathryn Boucher is the executive director of the Spartanburg Philharmonic Orchestra, a 65-member orchestra which has performed for more than 90 seasons and has roots dating to the late 19th Century. Kathryn works in all aspects of orchestra operations from fundraising to community relations and overseeing daily operations.

A native of Greenville, Kathryn has bachelor’s degrees in finance and art history from Wofford College and a master’s in Arts Administration from Winthrop University. She has a certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University and was selected an Emerging Leader of the League of American Orchestras.

Kathryn previously was development officer for the Mint Museums of Art in Charlotte, N.C.

She is part-time director of the Milliken Art Gallery at Converse College and graduated from Leadership Spartanburg and the South Carolina Diversity Leaders Initiative at the Riley Institute at Furman University. She is a fellow of the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and active in the League of American Orchestras.
