Jalitha Moore is the director of business engagement for the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce. As part of the Chamber's business development team, she fosters and cultivates relationships in Spartanburg County through strategic communication and provides assistance to start/grow small businesses.
A native of Spartanburg, Jalitha has a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Winthrop University. Jalitha previously worked for U.S. Rep Trey Gowdy as a constituent liaison and was a victim's advocate for local solicitor’s office.
She is a graduate of Leadership Spartanburg and the Grassroots Leadership Development Institute.
She has served on numerous boards including Patrons Society for Hope for Children and Leadership Spartanburg Alumni Association. She also oversaw the Let’s Unite Community Cookout bringing law enforcement and community together for this annual event.
She continues to serve her community in several capacities including Board Chair for Partners for Active Living, Spartanburg Young Professionals, and other organizations.
