Cody Mitchell

Overview

Cody Mitchell is a trial lawyer at Lucas, Warr, White & Mitchell, a firm which has been practicing personal injury law in the Pee Dee and the Midlands for more than three decades. Cody is managing attorney for the firm’s Hartsville office.

He also serves as municipal judge for the City of Hartsville, setting bonds for cases and holding trials for traffic violations and other minor crimes. He is also a military prosecutor for the South Carolina Army National Guard handling cases statewide.

Cody earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Presbyterian College and law degree from the University of South Carolina.

He sits on the Presbyterian College Board of Trustees, is a staff member for Palmetto Boys State and a board member of Darlington County Habitat for Humanity. He also sits on the boards of the South Carolina Association for Justice and the South Carolina Bar Military and Veterans Law Section.
