Leadership SC Class of 2023
A Look at Natural Resources, Environment & Energy
October 5-7, 2022

For your second session, Natural Resources, Environment & Energy focuses on the unique geography, energy resources and beautiful landscapes of South Carolina. This session provides a unique opportunity to see how the Lowcountry has become transformative in attracting high technology while preserving it’s past.

Traveling to the north Charleston area, you’ll learn more about why our state has attracted one of the world’s most influential companies – Boeing, then see how students are trained for these lucrative jobs.

Later, we drive south to Seabrook Island where we will continue our exploration of South Carolina’s coastline, marshes, preservation efforts and wildlife.

Please wear comfortable clothes/shoes for our tours and bring clothes for the plough-mud marshes.
